Installation

Stone veneer can be installed either by traditional wet-cladding method engaging sand-cement. Or by using specific adhessive to stick it to the wall directly.

Stonklad has come up with a unique system of hasselfree installation which is time & cost saving as well as easy to handle.

• At first one has to make a grid of backing channels in a speculated distance of maximum 500 mm horizontal / vertical manner by screwing them direct to the mother wall.
• If the desired design is in horizontal form,one should start installing the first panel right up there proceeding to down. Else if the design is vertical, start from right end of the wall of application.
• First panel should be screwed to the backing channel firstly. Then the second panel has to be glided through the toung-and-groove (inter locking) system to the first panel & then screwed to the other end.

• After covering the whole area with Stonklad panels applying the aforesaid method repeatativly, one should seal the last panel with the sealing channel to hold the whole system & to make the panels stick to each other as well as to the applied area.
• If needed, an inword / outword corner channel can be used to make the application aesthetically more beautiful.
